Week 14 – Where did the Bunny Hide the Eggs?

Okay well, this kinds looks like a Egg?  It is an unknown jasper with beautiful shades of pink, creams, browns, blacks and whites.  The stone was hand cut and polished by my husband, there are 3 drusy pockets on the face of the stone.

Week 12 – Start of Spring

Because I am late I am posting a few pieces that I made recently but not specifically for YOJ.  Here are a pair of earrings that I made using cubic zirconia beads, sterling and fine silver.  They sold at my last art and wine show.

Week 15- Katsushika Hokusai

I love flowers and this finally came out while I was contemplating the challenge.  Its made with brown/antiqued bronze freshwater pearls, rose quarts facetted round beads, and a facetted rose quartz onion briolette, copper head pins and chain.  I think it turned out pretty well.

Test Post – It’s been ages!

LOKI

This is our newest family member, Loki.  She's a Boxer and black German Short Hair mix.
We are completely head over heels in love with her.  I will post jewelry soon, but of course, the only computer that works with our old camera has a virus on it and is being fixed…timing is everything!
See you soon!

Shaylee Necklace

Shaylee5

The inspiration for this necklace came
from a small Celtic knot work ornament in the
Book of Kells The sterling silver wire work
centerpiece seemed to take on the appearance
of a fairy in the abstract. (At least it did
to me.) So I named this piece Shaylee after
the mythological fairy princess of the fields
in Irish folklore. The netted bezel-set stone
is a natural three carat emerald. Way overkill, but I kinda like how it turned out. I added
white pearls to the centerpiece for accent
and a white pearl teardrop to adorn the end
of the chain. C and Cs please!

Week 9-Etched Copper Cuff

Copper bunny cuff5 I have no clue if this on theme as I didn't take the time to do research this week.  I spent last weekend making bunches of etched pieces trying out Press N Peel blue as a resist.   Copper bunny cuff4It's a PITA to remove afterward but the amount of detail you can achieve  makes it worth it.  This particular cuff is a bold 1 1/2" wide and features a cute little rabbit in a garden.  Thanks for looking.
