Rose Quartz Drops
Here are some simple earrings – rose quartz drops with garnet and freshwater pearl accents and a little
wire-wrapping.
The theme was kisses in the mist, hence all the pinks

Week 2 – Kisses in the Mist – Lucinda/PurpleRhian
Do I win at being the latest for Week 2? :o) The past week or so has been really busy and I unexpectedly had very little time for jewellery amongst other things, so I am rather late unfortunately. Anyway, my week 2 piece is this necklace and pendant which loosely follows Eni’s mosaic tutorial instructions. I chose the Jasper coins and Labradorite for their ‘misty’ appearance, and the Pearls are there as a representation of Kisses (Pearls make me think of weddings, and therefore love, and so kisses!). For more information, please take a look at my blog
Just kisses!
Well, I really wanted to do kisses in the mist, but project clean desk came first… this was a piece I originally started for myself, for my christmas party in December… I then decided the red was too much for a straight black dress and decided to take my Avalon piece from FSOJ instead as my own! This was supposed to have three tiers as well, but I left it at two, as it seemed much nicer this way. It’s red coral, with sterling silver… I really love how this turned out though! It’s a fave even though I am not keeping it… OH! and there’s a simple pair of matching earrings as well…
Week 2 – “Garnet and Pearl Flower Necklace”
Darn, a late piece. =|
Anyway, I’m keeping this necklace for myself and that is something I seldom do.
I used Garnets, Pearls and a piece of oxidized, 28 gauge sterling silver. The center pearl is big and I wish I had some left, because they were a good quality. The necklace is about 15 inches in length and the pendant is one inch long. -Nancy
Photosynthesis Revisited
I have been sewing more than creating jewelry lately, but I did manage to create a necklace to match the Photosynthesis bracelet from the last quarter. It’s blue and green kyanite, boro glass drops, and loads of sterling. Attaching the pendant on an enlarged version of my D/swirl link was challenging!
Thanks so much for viewing! Have a great day!
Love,

Jean Power- Week 2
Only week 2 and I’m already late!
I did make these pieces in time but wasn’t able to do the photos until today.
I went on a one day beginners PMC Class at The PMC Studio in Amersham, England and thoroughly enjoyed it. I cam away with 1 pendant and some smaller pieces that I plan to turn into earrings and charms.
The pendant was made using a texture sheet, then cut out with a cookie cutter and a Peridot added.
The smaller pieces were rolled out on a textured brass plate and then the tops textured as well so they’re reversible.
I plan to turn these into a set but am still working out exactly what I want to do with them.
wk 2 – Janice (AKA Wireywoman)
Glad I’m not the only one who is late! I’m working on something new and rather than not post I am going to post one of the practice pieces. This isn’t meant to be a finished piece, there’s nothing ‘set up’ about the layout, I was focusing on the actual techniques rather than layout, etc. I am interested in some bi- and tri-metal pieces – this one is brass and sterling. I’m not completely happy with it but will forge ahead as I think it has potential.
The bezel is forged – I wanted a bit of sparkle and this reflects the light nicely. The motif is hand chased and the granules are handmade of brass with some sterling overlay 😉 ((sorry about the pic, I snapped it on the bench rather than pulling out the ‘lightbox’ etc))
Kisses in the Mist
Drat! It’s only the second week, and I’m already late…
Anyway, here is my entry for this week’s project. If you look closely, you will see that the Swarovski bicones inside the knitted balls are set into small hearts. They are very discreet, and become almost invisible behind the screen of silver mist. The fuschia colour of the crystals is the only thing that stands out boldly, just like passionate love.

Leah week 2, late again
I’m late again…I just can’t seem to get it through my head that everything is due by Monday…I’m so used to posting on Tuesday to be a day early, LOL.
Anyway – these cute little earrings are one pair of many that I’ve been making, with clusters of bead dangles. Nothing fancy, but they are cute and fun to wear!
Kisses in the Mist Earrings
Kisses in the Mist had me baffled but mist shouted rose quartz at me hence these earrings. A simple project this but one which addresses my goal of improving my wire skills and acquiring new ones. Making a wrapped loop for a briolette has had me baffled for months and months. These earrings took about a dozen tries before I was willing to photograph the results.
