Melissa Muir – Week 14
I was really having a hard time with my lack of creativity. I have been so busy with other things in my life that my jewelry has really suffered. I would go into my studio to work and would just get frustrated after working for hours and still having nothing to show for it.
This piece came as I pulled out my drill, put in a few holes and then used my saw to cut in a design. The back plate was a little unstable due to the cuts, so I soldered the wire on to help keep it steady.
The stone is a carnelian.
Week 14-Where did the Bunny…..Spring Love
This was made with a small piece of copper tubing that I stamped with "XOXO's". The curly cue's are 20 gauge headpins that I made and the bail is 16 gauge. I placed them in the tubing very carefully and pounded the tubing flat. I put it on a simple ball chain.

Wk 14 – Jess’s wedding bracelet
FWPs, sapphires, sterling silver. I was thrilled when I found this clasp as it finished the piece perfectly.
A family friend asked me to make a bracelet for her wedding this spring. She wanted a multi-strand pearl bracelet but left the details up to me. Her dress was off-white with a navy sash. She looked stunning, if I do say so myself…
You can see her on my Creativity Journal.
Where did the Bunny hide the Eggs?
I thin he did hide it on the cherry tree, because I found it there!))) I have made polymer eggs specially for this work, so this is combination of technicks againe.
Lampwork Bracelet
Another Lampwork beaded bracelet. Thanks as always, C&C welcomed Linda Rosa My Web Site
Week 14: Stamped Rings
I got my new Kismet font stamps from Beaducation! The "i am" ring is an
order. And I made the "i breathe" ring for me because I have started
doing yogic breathing exercises (pranayams), and this ring is to remind
me to do my exercise. The breathing exercises have helped a lot with my
migraines :-).

No bunnies here…
I kind of feel like a space hog, sorry about that. I love this necklace. The combination of colors, the simplicity of the design, the stones…I adapted the bail from an earring tutorial that was posted on the Beading Daily website. It's turned out to be a very useful technique, and I have a couple more pieces in the works that utilize it. The stones are Black Obsidian, Amazonite and Citrine with sterling silver.
Thanks for looking!

Week 14 – Copper Oval Earrings – Randi/Dax58
These are just simple, fun earrings! Lightly brushed, dapped and oxidized copper
ovals, with silver and brass accents, and hanging chalcedony beads. The
hole that the beads hang from have a silver tube rivet and a small
brass washer with the rivet – just to give it a little kick, and because I wanted to see how the layered rivet would
look.
Comments are always welcome… check out StudioDax for more about my teaching, My Jewelry Blog for more on my FSOJ projects, and My Website for more of my jewelry. Thanks, Randi
