Week 33 – Polymer Beads for a Bracelet
These polymer beads are for a bold bracelet. I usually do intricate patterns, but decided to do simple patterns with bold colors. Hopefully I’ll have the bracelet made before the year is over. -Nancy
Week 33- Shaktipaj
I’m quite proud of this series, and this is the last of my blog cloggers for the time being. I love the rondelle spacers from Swarovski- the shape is mondo pleasing to me. Got the hollow thang goin’ on. I truly love working 3D when it works and is stable. Lots of 26 and 28g ss wire to boot. Thanks for indulging me. Perri
Ring of Fire
One of the first of Eni’s tutorials I tried and loved. This is a gorgeous “burnt” orange stone donut with carnelian faceted ovals in the dangles as well as corrugated silver beads. One change I will make is to
change the crystals in the chain to a pair of carnelian stones to match the focal. As a painter I was applying the thought that bringing the orange into the chain would draw the eye away from the focal, and now having said this I think I’ve answered this on my own – perhaps a pair of silver beads would be more appropriate…
week 33 – catching up…
The color is on theme anyway 🙂 This is a pendant I submitted a earlier in YOJ, but I wasn’t happy with it. Someone recommended adding some detail across the large bead, so that is what I did. It’s very rough, but I like the idea. I will probably redo the whole thing at some point, I’m sure.
Week 33: Eni Oken
Ahhhh, I was so happy that I had managed to catch with the YOJ, now I’m back to being late again. Oh well, you know what they say… better late…
This one is another netted bezel pendant, made around this fabulously clear irregular turquoise cabochon which I recently picked up from one of my favorite local suppliers, Sunlightgems. I’m getting ready to receive an enormous batch of tumbled stones from my dad’s tumbler… can’t wait. I’ll be netting away! For more pictures of this pendant and info on the tutorial, check the journal: Net Bezel Pendant at Eni’s Journal.
Week 33 – weirdlywired
It’s very Perri, don’t you think? OK, let my clarify…the wrapping around the beads are reminiscent of her work, that’s where the similarity would end!
These little Turquoise rounds (about 2.5mm) and Coral beads really needed to be used together, and a circle pendant seemed fitting. The outer chain is a bit longer than the inside chain so the accent beads stay on the inside.
Several more pictures will be on my journal if you’d like to see the entire necklace and earrings. Thanks for looking and any feedback you may have to offer!
Cheers,
Angie S

Week 33 Sunrise, Sunset / Ring of Fire
I’m still busy melting metal! Here is a fused pendant, it’s about 1.5 inches (4cm) long and less the 1/2 inch (1cm) wide.
Jean Power- week 33- red embroidered cuff
I began work on this cuff in July. The actual beading only took a couple of evenings, it’s just taken me this long to turn it into a finished item!
I used a mix of seed and bugle beads, shisha mirrors and sequins in reds and oranges for a nice bright cuff.
You can see another picture of the cuff, showing the other side on my website.
Week 33 — From Sunrise Glory to Sunset Mystery
Another classic of mine crocheted with my signature stitch. Made from 26 ga stainless steel wire, cat’s eye and assorted glass beads, it sparkles and glows softly in all shades of pink and orange, as the sky does, bidding the sun good day… but also good night.
