Last one for today
Nice and fallish. Orance calcite and peachstone necklace set.
Iced waters and icicles
a crocheted bracelet made with sterling silver wire and ice cubes of Rock crystal.
This bracelet has 3 rows. The dainty nature of the crochet contrasts nicely with the nature and translucency of the gemstones.
Mommakat: “Life to Drink”
This really captured my imagination, and I played with a couple of different ideas.. one I still want to do at some time… but what I ended up was working in my head about how you need water to live… and that juxtaposed with how many people out there just coast in life, without really taking all it can offer… without "drinking" it all in. So I call this "life to drink" It’s a pin approx 3 inches high, I’m very happy with out it turned out, if not how long it took!!! More info and pics on my blog:

Week 23 – weirdlywired
Here we have my new favorite earrings!
While going to sleep at night, I try to figure out new twists on classic elements. I don’t normally get up and write things down, but this idea actually threw me out of bed with enough force to wake up DH! He wasn’t nearly as excited about it…go figure!
Pretty basic stuff here – copper and silver, spiraled and coiled, LOS’d and tumbled!
Thanks for looking and any feedback you may have! There’s another picture on my journal.
Cheers,

Week 23 Jacki/stefannsgirl
A pin made of sterling and lampwork beads. The beads are made by our very own Samma of Posh Lampwork Beads http://stores.ebay.com/POSH-Glass-Lampwork-Beads_W0QQssPageNameZl2QQtZkm
Thanks for the beautiful beads, Samma! I had the distinct honor of being Samma’s first ever lampwork customer.
Comments and critiques are welcome and appreciated as usual!
Simple Elements
Haven’t had much time for jewelry lately, so I decided to make some earrings with simple elements to catch me up in the YOJ project. Nothing fancy, but attractive still. I made the earwires myself for these earrings.
First Pair: Zircon w/ lt topaz swarovski
Second Pair: Smoky Quartz w/ colorado topaz swarovski
Like water…
OK, I’ve been making these so often, it’s almost like drinking water :^) Labradorite pendants in various styles.
Water to Drink
The dichroic pendant looks like sparkling clean water – delicious. This is a piece I re-made by improving on the connection between the pendant and the crochet sections. If you can afford to be patient, an improvement always presents itself….
Jean Power- week 23- beaded Treasure Bracelet
I’ve finally managed to finish my Beaded Treasure bracelet which I started back in March!
It’s a great technique, and the book makes it so easy to understand. I finished my bracelet using a large button I bought a few years ago
that was just waiting for the perfect project to be used in.
I have loads of ideas for variations- I even have the thread and the beads- now I just need the time!
Week 23 – Simple Circle Earrings
Someone asked me to do a pair of circle earrings. I know this type of earring has been around for a while, they were still fun to make and I got to use my favorite dapping hammer. Wire used – 16 and 18 gauge. -Nancy
