Week 9-Ancient Greece-Wrapped & Coiled
Maybe a woman in Ancient Greece would have worn this! This necklace was built around the beautiful glass bead made by Alana from Flameboyance Glass. Copper is wrapped around copper wire and linked to copper coils. The copper tubing is wrapped with sterling silver coiled wire.

Ancient Greece
I did alot of research on this one and had fun with it but am going to restring this choker when I get more accuflex… I am out havent had to order it since 8/05 I got a 1000 yd roll…. I will restring it so it lays better but really like the idea and I think I will make both rows go all the way around theirs were all the way around like a collar! C&C welcome.
Not on theme
I'm trying to catch up before it is too late so I'm posting a picture of a new style bracelet that I made using a gorgeous labradorite stone I found in AZ this past January. I've combine wire wrapping with simple chainmaille and a little bit wire coiling. I recently decided to keep the bracelet and add it to my private stash.
Wk 9 – Octopus pin
This really should be my piece for week ten, but as I haven't photographed my week 9 piece yet I'm going to switch them.
Copper, pencil crayons, resin. It will be a pin once I locate and attach the pin back.
More details on my Creativity Journal. This is very definately a prototype/experiment.
Week 9 – Corrugation Experiment
I've been renovating my shop for the past few weeks and have not had access to any tools - am having serious withdrawl. This was the last piece I worked on before packing everything up. It was inspired by Randi's corrugation projects, here's my version,
New Mexico Sunrise
This color story has been haunting my muse, because I see it almost on a daily basis. Not because I get up early enough to see the sun actually rise, it's the color story used on the New Mexico government license plates. =)
To do this I've combine turquoise, amber, carnelian, citrine and sterling silver.
Using Eni Oken's bangle tutorial, I've converted it into the beginning of a choker style necklace. Also I implemented her netting tutorial in the piece. I had the need to go back to some of the grass root techniques I've learned over the years.
Thank you,

Week 9 – Ancient Greece
Ancient Greece is breathtaking period for me. So I decided to express my admiration of ancient gold with new earrings. Centerpiece I have made with fimo and metallic powder, also here are ceramic beads and some wire of course. Even my husbend was impressed from this things so good and said "this is my favourite earrings too!" :-)))
week 9- More Tube Setting
I need to work on my photography so much, anyway. I took a heavy retanglular wire, attached by a tube to the top decorative plaque. The top has a square wire formed and soldered to a back plate, accented with fine silver beads. There is a tube bezel hidden on the back plate. I then tube set a tanzenite stone. What I like: The design and stone, what I would do different: I think for stablity probably would have two tubes to attach top to bottom.
