Yin Yang Necklace
This is really starting to look like a new line in my collection. I just love making these bold necklaces with large chunky beads, 22ga stainless steel wire and a huge crochet hook! The theme "Birds of a Feather… (Flock Together)" doesn’t have an exact translation in French, but its equivalent is "Qui se ressemble s’assemble", meaning "those who are similar will get together". I chose to represent this concept with the use of identical beads in opposite patterns of colours, hence the Yin and Yang title.

Peachy Daisies – Shaktipaj
I started this ages ago for one of my DILs. Just wanted to see if the stone would wrap cleanly like this. It did, sort of. Swaros, freshwater pearls, muscovite focal, 26g silver. Perri
Jean Power- week 45- star geometric pendant
Third in my recently pendants which form a part of my geometric beadwork series.
I loved this star shape and really enjoyed playing around with the colours as well. This will defintiely also be made into earrings and possibly form a part of a future necklace
Inter-Connection
Trying to be on theme, this week’s entry is a bracelet I was really happy with. From a book that I own on
making chains (I may edit this post to include the proper title and author) this bracelet started out with
8 ga sterling silver wire that I forged into the bar shapes and connected with chainmaille. Sprinkled a few
freshwater pearls and swarovski crystals and added a two strand coin pearl clasp. One of my more ambitious
creations.
More Rainbows
I love ammolite! It’s natures dichro, only tons more beautiful. This is an exceptional piece of ammonite. It displays green, blue, red, orange, gold … just lovely! The predominate color is green, but that works for me as green is my favorite color. 🙂 Netted in 14k GF with a single tiny tundra sapphire on the bail in the most incredible green. It is so small it’s hard to appreciate the great color of it in the photo – you’ll just have to take my word for it. 😉 I’m thinkin’ I might have to keep this beauty for myself. I try to be a good girl and put my work up for sale no matter how much I like it, but I am not yet sure I’ll be able to part with this stone.
Interconnection
More chainmaille! This is a commission for a 30th birthday. My customer liked Byzantine and chose peridot based on the gemstone’s description "warmth, friendliness, understanding, openess in love and relationships" as she said that it described the birthday girl.
Week 45 – Layers – Ellen/rubystar
This bracelet was sort of a custom order by a woman who wanted to buy a very similar bracelet of mine in the gallery, but it was too small. I didn’t have exactly the same parts this time, so had to make a new one in her size. I hope she loves it!

Week 45 Matching earrings
I’m catching up. These are a pair of earrings I made to match the bracelet I made for week 43. Not much to tell about them. Just simple earrings with a bit of coiling and faceted smokey quartz.
Inter-connections Sheila
Love making these earrings. The do appear to be inter-connected, but their not. One piece of 22g wire.
Week – 45 “Porcelain Jasper Pendant”
A simple piece for this week. The Porcelain Jasper stone is 2.5 inches long and I put the pendant on a 30 inch leather cord.
I like doing simple wraps on dramatic stones. -Nancy
