Dandylion
I need another hot of this piece. It’s VERY 3 dimensional! Will post a side view soon.
An interesting design for, and definitely and experiment! It was fun to make though.
..chained Melody
As much as I tried to be asymmetrical I kept taking this one apart and adjusting it so that it ended up
pretty much symmetrical. But now that I’ve experienced more chain and wirework I think I can concentrate on more freeform design. I love working with wire!……

Week 13 – Lynn
I am so totally behind, but I am ready to catch up now. I’ve been busy making jewelry for some Mother’s Day shows that I have coming up, and today finally had some time to do some photography and post.
These two bracelets came about because I purchased a dozen of the lampwork beads, planning on using in a strung bracelet. Didn’t work out, and I tried several designs before coming up with two that I really like. While they both use the lampworks as focals, the style is quite different. The asymmetrical bracelet is not a style I normally would do, but I needed a bit of extra length and when I added the addtional single bead link, it just sort of fell together in a way I liked.
wk 13 – enamel pendant
Last term at Central St Martin I did a colour and textures course in Jewellery. One of the briefs was a textured pendant. This was my design which was partly based on some earrings I posted for week 5.
I had some sterling silver sheet which i stamped, cut out the circles and domed before soldering one dome inside the other and adding the pendant bail.
I then added some translucent enamel which was kiln melted. I love translucent enamels because they add colour but you can still see the underlying texture.
The pendant is my current favourite for everyday wear.

Mistinguette Ring
My first cabochon setting. Entirely fabricated ring, made from sterling silver wire and sheet with a nice Onyx round cabochon.
It took me ages, Each time I was filing an area, I was ending up marking another area with the file.
The ring even "flew" out of my hands when I was polishing the silver, which brought me back to square one as the Banging caused more dents, which I had to file, which caused more damges, which I managed at the end to get rid of!
Red Hearts by Beth C. / bcweaves
Red czech glass beads on 21g sterling silver (ss) wire and ss beads. The wire holding the beads was melted into a bead on the end and then hammered. I remembered a while back someone talking about that in the CWJ forum and found the results to be very nice. Simple, comfortable and attractive.
Week 13 – Lemon Quartz – Eni Oken
I enjoyed so much making the ring with the net bezel, so I decided to make a bigger piece for a necklace. I used an irregular lemon quartz nugget, which is rather large (the nugget alone measures 1-1/4 inches high). The smaller beads attached to the frame are champagne quartz of very high quality. The underlying structure was made with 22 ga wire coiled with 28ga. The net was finished off with tiny vermeil thai beads. The pendant has a woven bail and was strung with lemon quartz, champagne quartz and vermeil beads. To see more pictures, go to Lemon Quartz Pendant at my Journal.
