Week 23 Mystery stone ring
I pulled this stone out of a bin of unlabled mostly miscellaneous quartz cabs. It is faceted with a smooth bottom – obviously intended to be used this side up.
This piece needs a bit more finishing done to it too but I wanted to get the photo up before I get any further behind.
Week 22 Cup ring
I've been working on a bunch of things all at once these days which means I'm not actually finishing one thing a week. Ah well…
This sterling ring started out as a flat piece of sheet. I got to play with my disc cutter and dapping block along the way. I like it, even if it needs a bit more finishing done.
Carnelian & Amethyst
My muse wanted to combine carnelian & amethyst, so she won. Using Nikki's tutorial with a couple of twists this pair of earring emerged.

Week 25 – Squares and Swarovski
I seem to be getting side-tracked a lot the last couple weeks. These were meant to be a quick project to get me back on track for time, and you can see how well that worked out. I'll get there, though.
I went back to silver,my true love, for these fancy earrings. The delicas and the Indian Pink swarovski rondelle make them very girly and a bit flashy, but the squares are a bit more tailored. I like that balance. I'm also in love with the latchback wires — where were they hiding all my life? I had no idea that they were only marginally more difficult to make than plain french wires.
Week 26-PITA Pendant
I have no talent for thinking up clever names for my pieces. :) But this does remind me a little of a stained glass window. I actually didn't make it this week but I did put the jump ring on so you could say I finished it this week, right? I had thought about making a beaded chain for it, but after making the pendant, I ran out of motivation. The sides of the soldered square frame measure just under 1 1/4" and I used bunches of little bitty pearls, some iolite beads, and mystic quartz beads in the center. Thanks for looking.
Week 25-Copper Prolong Cuff
Last week I had the pleasure of taking a two day workshop from Loren Damewood. We finished our silver bracelet by noon so after lunch he gave us some copper wire and let us make another one. I just decided to bling this one up a bit by wiring on some 4mm silver Czech beads. The workshop was a lot of fun and I recommend it if you ever get the chance.
Week 23-Edward Scissorhands-Girly Cowgirl
This week's submission was made a couple of months ago when I was in my Cowgirl mode…in fact, I think I still am. This piece was made from copper sheet that I sawed the center out of. I hung a Thai silver flower in the "window" to give my Cowgirl pendant a feminine touch. I hung some of my favorite green pearls and hung from a coiled linke a Cowgirl charm that I purchased from Peppermintcharms.

Week 25 – Riveted Ring – Randi/Dax58
It's been a while since I did some metalwork, so I really enjoyed my
bench time this week. I've done similar rings, but this one is pretty
wide – maybe a bit too wide for my finger, but I like it anyway! The
rivets are simple copper tube rivets, and the design is stamped on both
sides. The back has "Dream Big" stamped into it. I also dapped the top
and bottom a bit to make it more comfortable on my finger…
Comments are always welcome… check out StudioDax for more about my teaching, My Jewelry Blog for more on my FSOJ projects, and My Website for more of my jewelry. Thanks, Randi
Infinity Earrings
Hi everyone. Remember me? 🙂 Sorry I’ve been absent. I haven’t had much spare time recently. I’ve managed to create a couple little goodies though. I decided to make a pair of bridal earrings. They are adorned with a sweet bouquets of creamy white keishi pearls, gorgeous AAA faceted rose quartz and pink tourmaline gemstones.
The pearls and gems are suspended from handmade earwires and infinity links symbolizing forever love. C&Cs please.

Green Sardonyx
My muse picked the cabs out of my stash. Once the bezels were made, jumprings soldered in place and the stones set…I added smoky quartz and phrenite for accents.
