Jean Power- week 8- Copper and drop bead earrings
More simple wirework- all for a purpose- and I just love the combination of the copper of the wire and the green of the crystals.

Melissa Muir – Week 8
This is a pin. I have only ever made one other pin and I am starting to like them a bit. This is made with a dichroic cab that was given to me by one of my students. This piece is so large. I don’t know the exact measurements, but the top of the stone is at least 1 1/2" if not two and about 2 – 2 1/2" long.
I decided to design the piece around what was going on in the stone itself and I am very happy with how it turned out. You can see a picture of the back of the pendant on my Design Journal.
Any comments or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Chalcedony Earrings – Week 8 – Amari
I’m trying to get in the mood for spring and the warmer weather with some lighter colours – it seems a long way off arriving here just yet though!
The wire filigree shapes have been soldered to the oval frames, the stones are pink chalcedony (I love the colour of these!) and tiny faceted pink topaz along the bottom with some Hill Tribe silver.
Week 8 – Totally off topic & late! Sorry!
I know I am totally late and way off topic. I have pieces to post but I broke my camera a while back and it took this long to fix it. Anyways here it goes….
Stephen’s Choice – Shaktipaj
I REALLY like this one! I haven’t been this excited over a design in a while. First, the cab is phenomenal – most labradorite is only fiery from one or two perspectives- this one is drab from only one or two! Second, this wrap has been floating in my head for a while, I was looking for a design that could go masculine and finally executed one to my satisfaction!. The proof is in the pudding, as they say, because after one look, my Beloved Stephen declared that this was his. He just doesn’t do that, so I’m very happy!.
This is effectively double -sided, as the back of the stone is very beautiful, and I only added Hill Tribe beads to the front, so the back has a somewhat different look. Took pics before and after LOS, as well as from many different angles. 22, 26, & 30g sterling, the pendant is just over an inch and a half. Comments are most welcome! Perri
Come see the other pics and a link to the source of this cab in my Blog!
Week 8- Druid’s Secret
Melinda Willis creates these intricate ceramic beads and vessels with natural themes. I fell in love with this cerramic vessel with oak leaves and an acorn stopper. I paired it with sterling links that look like oak leaves accented with keishi freshwater pearls. Also on the necklace are two of Melissa’s daintly little acorn beads and some twisted jasper beads.
I also made a pair of earrings to match using the same jig I used for the links of the necklace.

Week 8
I like doing sampler pieces with each component different yet tied together by a common thread. Here I’ve got a double helix link, a kuchi koil bead, and a horseshoe link, all of which are made with twisted & coiled wire and oxidized and polished to resemble the pre-fab toggle. I had an extra bead in the set of lampwork, so I dangled it from the toggle ring. More photos here. Comments welcome!

Week 8- Agentina Culture
Late again! I haven’t been able to catch my breathe this week, so I am cheating by posting something I made earlier. Copper and Turquoise, handcrafted bead (yea!) and a stiff neckwire. The front hangs down is an oval shape.. actually I think of Cleopatra when I see this one.
Week 8 – Janice
I can’t believe I’m a day late! I had a migraine yesterday and just couldn’t be online….this ring still needs work, some more sanding and then re-polish and the spikes are going to be trimmed JUST a bit….sterling and onyx:
C&C welcome!

Week 8: Swati
This time I am totally not on theme. There were many orders to make and guests at home. But I did make one tiny little Sponge Coral pendant, because I was very interested in trying how Iza weaves two wires and then twists and turns them around a stone. Its a simple and small pendant, but I think it looks quite cute. My daughter grabbed it for herself.
The other picture I want to share here is of one of the orders I completed this week. It is an affirmation cuff/bracelet, with angel wings and Amethysts. The affirmation the customer wanted is on the outer side. If you want to see more pictures of this bracelet, you can see them at my blog. I wanted to show this one because I am very very inexperienced with sawing, soldering and bezel setting etc. So the fact that I made it makes me very proud. LOL!
