Lemon Caps – Shaktipaj
Wanted to see if these caps would work on this faceted nugget. Pic isn’t the best, but I like them. 26, 28g silver and beads. Perri
Jean Power- week 42- frame inspired bracelet pt 2
The second bracelet inspired by the photo frame I bought and which will also be a project in an upcoming issue of Bead Magazine.
Think Pink
I realize this isn’t how the post is supposed to work. But I thought I’d fill in a few of the posts that I missed.
One of my favorite types of jewellery to create are fibulas. Here is a sterling silver wire pin with three of my lampworked beads.

Week 42— Think Pink
In September of 1996, I lost my dear mother-in-law to a breast cancer, so this topic is really important to me. To illustrate this theme I decided to crochet an awareness ribbon brooch. It is made of 28 ga argentium wire, freshwater pearls in two shades of pink, rose quartz, pink Peruvian opals, and facetted jade dyed in pink.

Odds and Ends…Week 42
OMG..I can’t believe I am a month behind…okay these are going to be short and sweet posts just to catch up! I am getting ready for a "Holiday Boutique" event next week end, so have really been trying to crank out some inventory…still behind after my broken wrist this past Spring, but getting there!
This one has odds and ends of chain, plus a bunch of other fun things…rhodonite, freshwater pearls, garnet, ruby, muscovite, lampwork, plum agate, fancy jasper, bali and hill tribe silver, lots of wrapped-loop links, and a bit of other wire-work here and there. It is long (approx. 45 inches) with no clasp.
Thanks for looking..comments welcomed as always.

Not quite pink Sheila
The garnet in these earrings looks a little pink, buy not quite. Couldn’t get a decent px. GF wire, dyed pale gold freshwater pearls, tiny garnets.
Week 42 – Melissa Muir
WOW – I missed a week. I have been so crazy busy this past week that I totally forgot to post my stuff last week…. even though I was done with it. OOPS!
This is a pendant I made while wanting to try some different things. I hand forged the ends of the spirals, and woke the baby while doing so… not a good night. 😉 The pendant is rather large. I used 14 gauge wire and a 14 mm square black onyx cab. It measures about 3 1/2 inches from top to bottom. I found that it can be worn either direction. The way I wear it is how it is pictured.
week 42 – umbrellas in the wind
When I saw this theme, an idea popped into my head – that doesn’t usually happen so I went with it.
The pendant is made with 20 gauge brass wire for the frame, the entire umbrella and handle is one continuous piece of wire. I used 28 gauge brass wire for the umbrella, with 3 mm czech glass beads. The handle is wrapped with 26 gauge.
I used a boiled egg to oxidize it, and then tumbled it overnight.
pink – rose quartz this time
Rose and smokey quartz this time! I hammered the base and wrapped it with sterling silver wire and then wove rose and smokey quartz onto the frame. Not th ebest picture though – I must get a light tent now that the sun has gone away for the winter!
