Pirates!
… catching up….
What a pirate would wear on his fingers, what a Pirate would throw in his treasure chest.

Week 24 – weirdlywired
In the effort to catch up, I’m going to post a recent commission, hope you don’t mind! I have done a J before, but only in wire, and not very well either. You can see it HERE.
This was made for a woman serving in the Air Force, and although I’m not sure where she’s stationed, the Post Office says Iraq based on the address I had to send it to. I hope and pray it finds her well.
The frame is 20G sterling and the coiling is 26…maybe 28. Various little stones…thanks for looking, and and any comments or feedback you may have!
Stay cool (unless it’s winter where you are!),

Pirates, Shipwrecked
MMmmm, not exactly on theme but the blue/green of the stones and the brass rings somehow seem to belong to this category….I really enjoyed doing this type of chain and am working on the sterling silver version at the moment……
Pam K – Copper & Brass Earrings
I’m rather behind – but I’ve been making lots of jewellery – just haven’t had a chance to post it as life has been rather hectic.
These are copper & brass with a touch of sterling. Made with my disc cutter – I’ve decided I now favour brushed and matte finishes after spending ages handpolishing these! There’s a picture of another two pairs I made on my blog too.
Cheers, Pam K. (kmap on the forum)
Week 24 Jacki/stefannsgirl
These are some dichro lampwork beads that my Mom got for me in New Mexico (I think). They are full time RV’ers and meet lots of neat people. This lady is one of the snow birds that migrate there in the winter. She got to actually watch her make some beads. 12 gauge core with 18 gauge coils.
Comments and critiques are welcome and appreciated as usual!
More Simple Elements
First Pair: Green Garnet w/ olivine swarovki
Second Pair: hessonite garnet w/ indian red swarovski
pirates?
OK, so maybe ot exctly pirate inspired, but a technique that I’ve been wanting to try for a long long time! Stamping is so much fun, and is sooo addictive! LOVE it! Piece one is jade, piece two is blue coral. Fine silver, stamped, and punched.
week 24 – pinwheels or flowers?
I can’t decide if the colorful details are flowers or pinwheels – but I love the beads just the same! I rescued them from an antique store, where they were hanging on a rather hideous gold-tone chain…
This bracelet is another belated b-day gift for my mom.
Jean Power- week 24- another beaded bead
I am addicted to these beads!
I really enjoy making them and playing around with all the colour combinations. I have another one on the go at the moment as well- so guess what I’ll be posting next week?!?!
Week 24 – ” Much Happiness Earrings”
Another pair of earrings. I have a show in a couple of days and earrings are always popular. Chinese symbol for Happiness. Okay, I’m brain dead and don’t know what else to add. – Nancy
